Have to admit i stopped trading the Wealthbuilder system over a month ago -  due to the results i was getting compared to the Winning Dow Signals trades which i needed to monitor at the same time.

Just wanted to give an update of how they’ve done for the past couple of months.   As you can see the DAX from 8am method has performed really well, whereas the gbp/usd hasnt. The Dax seems to be more stable and less rangy than the currencies and other indices.

Neil the author has introduced a couple of extra rules which may well also add to the profit potential of the system.

Strange morning on the Dax - went into a trade @ around 10.05 & the Dax went sideways for just under 2 hours. Eventually came out with a winner around 13.45.

Heard some good reports about using Wealthbuilder with the Dax (& back tested the trades for the last 3 weeks on IG Index charts which bore this out) so decided to start trading this. Was going to leave it until Monday but no reason to put it off so started today.
(The Dax comes under ‘German 30 Daily Cash’ on IG Index).

There are some differences to the way Wealthbuilder was designed to be traded on the FTSE , the main one being that you only trade colour changes on the MACD. Dont want to go into too much detail for obvious copyright reasons.

Trading this with the FTSE died a bit of a death but the Dax has worked consistently well with Wealthbuilder for a number of months so we’ll see how it goes.

My trading will be done betwee 9-12am, £5 a pip, stop @ 24.

A fellow trader has offered to help with the updating of the blog which, apart from more regular results listed, will also mean more services trialled.

As well as more regular updates on Winning Dow Signals & LS Trader we will be looking at the service offered by the guys @ http://www.intelligenttradersclub.co.uk   & a specific service provider on http://www.zulutrade.com.

Zulu Trade allows you to subscribe free of charge to an FX Trader from the hundreds registered with them. Once you’ve susbscribed and got an account with a suitable brokerage Zulu place the trades on your behalf, shadowing the trades placed by your provider. Well aware of the potential issues with this kind of set up but Zulu have been established for a long time and are the leading provider of this service in the industry so we’ll just have to see.

I’m trialling something entirely different - all the details are here; http://robobets.com.   Never had much faith in horse systems or tipsters but i’m not really too bothered about where our winnings come from to be honest.   Its free until you make £100 & then have to choose a subscription option - again time will tell but i think i’ll like this one if it comes off.

Not totally binned Wealthbuilder but hasnt made any progress bank wise for the last couple of months and thats obviously not what i’m looking for. I’m going to keep an eye on the systems performance on the German DAX index because a couple of people have told me they trade it successfully. It seems to have been less volatile than the FTSE over the past month and if you back test on IG Index going back to the 8th May its made around 100 pips.

12 pip gain today for the system - some people may well have got another winner with the 9am signal. the colour change happend at 8.55 ie outside my trading times but the actual signal didnt occur until 9.10 so should have taken it really.
