I’ve heard enough negative things about this service now for me to make a decision not to continue reviewing the service or using it personally.

Couple of people have contacted me regarding their problems in getting refunds for losing months, etc etc & other blogs have reports similar issues. My own research has thrown up a couple of interesting links as well;

I only want to be reccommending services that i use myself and i’m confident in & i dont think either of those boxes can be ticked here. Only my opinion but just thought i’d explain why the results wont appear from now on.

Just wanted to update you on the latest situation with this service. In the last couple of days they have decided to stop giving out the ‘other sports’ bets which have continued to drag down the results of the horse racing lays. They will continue to give out occasional football bets as they have been profitable.

The horse racing lays performance in January has been outstanding with a profit of around £800.00 up to the 23rd January. I think this is a good move for this service as it allows them to concentrate 100% on the area which they obviously excel in.

They also confirmed that they will now be sending out the email @ 11am rather than the variable times it was sent out previously. I think this service should continue to be profitable & works very well with the Grey Horse Bot, which allows you to place the days selections @ just after 11am & let the bot do the work at the specified time.

Well the big turnround continued & this service had 8 out of 11 winning lay bets since the 19th December. Some of these were ‘double unit’ strength lays which all came in & so increased the bank even more quickly.

A quick mention re the sports bets which have also had big turnround - the whole service hit a low of -28 points in the middle of December but actually finished the month - 3.8pts down.

Started 2010 with 2 winners & i’ll keep updating the site with the results. Could be this is a very genuine service which will be very profitable & just happend to hit a bad patch as soon as i started reviewing it.

Quick update on this service. Straight to the point - the horse racing side of the service has lost £620.97 for me in the last couple of weeks and i think the sports betting side has done worse. Not going to list the details but heres the current situation.

Below is the monthly email i received from Lay the Best summarising their performance in November.

Hi Guys,

Just reporting on another successful month as we finished +7.5 units
up for the month of November. That brings us to our 11th month of the
year without loss, and our 47th month overall without loss!

The last week of the month was slightly dissapointing, as at one point
we were looking at a +21 unit profit, however nothing seemed to go
right during the last week at all and we finished +7.5 units up.

From the 1st December we will be slightly more conservative with the
‘other sports’ selections, as we have a very large range of contacts
providing us with information regarding these. It is sometimes too
easy to go overboard and make too many selections.

We’ll stick to what we know best, which is horse racing and be a lot
more selective with the ‘other sports’ and hopefully we’ll finish the
year with a final month profit of 15+ units.

I’d like to thank our loyal customers who from the start of this year
are 178 units up so far! For new customers, here’s to a successful
future.
