Quick update on Forex Trades Live.

I decided to switch to the 50 pip stop again which i had used previously but was advised by the operator of the service wasnt the most profitable long term . This may be the case but it does control the losses and looking at the results for the last 6 months has proved more profitable than using the advised stop losses.

For example using the advised stop losses & going for the 72 pip recommended target for the GBP/USD would have produced 324 pips since August whereas the 50 pip stop loss would have produced 369. On the EUR/USD using the advised stops & the 32 pip recommended target would have produced 888 pips compared with 1034 pips using the 50 pip stop loss.

Not a massive difference but it feels more comfortable with the smaller stop & its more profitable so it makes more sense.

Interestingly the full service has come down in price to £55 per month. You can, though, subscribe to just the GBP/USD for £30 per month or just the EUR/USD for the same.  Subscribing to both is £55 per month.

Pretty much as you were with Forex Trades Live - had 2 losers to start the month but 3 winners have recovered those losses to leave us still at 154 pips ahead. Interestingly using the fixed stop of 50 pips would have had us another 78 pips up.

Meanwhile on the gbp/usd the service is having another positive month following Novembers profits with the 32, 72 & 100 pip targets 33, 225 & 237 pips in profit respectively.

As has been previously said about this service it consistently makes profits & if you’d followed the recommended profit targets (which are 32 pips for eur/usd & 72 pips for gbp/usd) you would have made 1369 pips in the last 6 months which includes a poor October for the gbp/usd.

You basically get between 1 & 3 texts a day with trade instructions which you ’set & leave’ with whoever you use to place your trades ( ig index in my case) & leave it. No charts, no manual - highly recommended income generator for literally 5 minutes ‘work’ a day. Think they’re still doing the 14 day free trial as well.

We’ve had a winner on the 23rd, loser on the 25th and a winner today for this service. The loser was 59 pips so the service has gained 5 pips overall. In the same period the gbp/usd side of the service has had 1 winner for 32 pips.

Another 32 pip winner for the EUR/USD part of this service & the GBP/USD is up to 210 pips up for November (depending on which profit target your looking at) so looks like the service could be over the little blip in October.

If you look at the year as a whole across the 2 currencies they’re up nearly 4000 pips and that only includes the EUR/USD results from August. It just shows that every service is going to have a bad patch without fail and thats all part of trading. The difficulty is if it happens in your first month - if you lose a couple of hundred pips its unlikely anyone will persevere the following month without experience of previous winning months.

I’ve said before that this is a solid service which would have got us about £10,000 @ £5 a pip @ the 32 pip profit target (not even the most profitable for GBP/USD) since January.

They’re currently offering a free 14 day trial & this may be an ideal time to give them a try as they seem to be now performing as they were pre-October.

Further 2 trades from FTL - 1 loser and 1 winner. This takes their results to 7 winners out of 9 trades in November which is pretty much in line with the results recorded on the site for previous months. (I’ve added an additional 2 pips which should have been there but i miscalculated on the 11th November).

October was 13 winners out of 17 trades
September was 26 from 32
August was 23 from 34
