Just 2 trades today - 1 at the beginning and 1 pretty much at the end of the day. The 1st trade was on the aud/usd but it could have been any of 3/4 pairs which had the same more or less perfect set up & the target was reached within a couple of candles. The 2nd trade was a ‘hi/lo’ on the usd/jpy when there was a pull back close enough to the 15 emas to warrant a trade.

In between there were some nice trades triggered by the high impact news release @ 3pm but again happy enough with 40 pips & would have been happy enough with 20 to be honest.

Just to let everyone who’s asked me for a copy of the back-testing that i’ll be getting it off to you asap but as i’m going back through 5 pairs to last July it may take a week or so to get finished.

Been relatively quiet for WDS over past couple of weeks. I’ve taken 3 of the 9pm Dow trades with 2 winners and a loser. There were Sunday night trades this week for the 1st time in a couple of weeks & they turned out to be winners with gains of about 50 pips. No set and forget trades for some time though.

Another loser on the Dow Trader system - John has put a note on the account that there have been a record no. of losers recently so he may look at changing the parameters, which is normal due to changing market conditions. Double stake tonight due to 2 consecutive losers.

Wanted to tighten up my trading with Black Dog before i started with the other currency pairs i’m going to use so i’ve been doing some back-testing with the slightly revised rules. Its nothing major really, just dropping one of the MACD histograms which i wasnt using to make any decisions anyway and only entering when the lines on the other MACD are in the right order.I’ll also be trading the ‘hi/lo’s’ as long as they fit all the existing criteria & i’ll put the revised rules i’ll be using up on here asap.

This should reduce the number of trade per pair but as i’ll now be looking at 5/6 pairs i’ll hopefully be getting more trades, with more factors stacked in my favour. Anyway onto today & not a great start with a 16 pip loss - would have been better but i stayed out of the markets @ high impact news time and missed out on a couple of nice trades. Rules are rules though & for the time being i’ll continue to stay out -   edit   ignore that nonsense - seems like i was looking at the 1st feb calendar all day- very professional! there we’rent any announcements today so a losing day should have been a winning day for all you competent traders out there.

Thanks for all the info re JCA Racing - i appreciate everyone who’s taken the trouble to email me about them. I have commited to do a review of them so i will do now & i’ll be doing it with own money (small amount initially) via the bot supplied on with the service. It’ll be no extra work & i’ll just report the results with a screenshot of the bot each day.

Losing trade on Wednesday for Dow Trader for a 35 pip loss. Thursday night was a no trade after a big drop on the Dow @ 9.30pm when the market re-opened. I’m a bit confused by this because the instructions are to place your trade @ EITHER just before the Dow closes @ 9.13/9.14pm OR @ 9.30pm when the Dow re-opens after the 15 mins break.

Now following those instructions why would you have not placed the trade? John the author seems to sometimes suggest you wait for the price to move in your favour which it was doing in spades but i suppose in fairness it didnt start going the other way so it possibly could be seen as not confirming the buy trade. Anyway i’ll see if i can get clarification of this from John.

2 losers on the run meant that the stake was increased last night. Pretty straightforward winning trade-never really went into to negative territory. Nearly made the full 60 pips target (would have been +120 pips) but went to +54 and as the rules advise to move up to +30 stop if your trade reaches +50 i came out with +30 pips (+60 as double stake).

Really impressive service with this system as the author regularly updates the members area whilst the trade is running, reminding what you need to do with stops etc.

Just 1 bet so far this week and its a 100 pt over the 2 legs of a Champions League tie which took place last night. Suffice to say the bets looking ok at this stage.
