Quick update on the Lay the Best system - the good news is the last 6 sports lays have all won so that side of the service looks like its back in form. The bad news is that the managed account service has had to be terminated because from January anyone offering such services needs a gaming licence which cost £35,000. Unsurprisingly they’ve decided its not cost effective to continue with it.

This just means that anyone wanting to subscribe now will be on the £50 per month service which from what i’ve seen so far is great value for money. If you only have access to the internet @ dinner time you can still place your lays using the industry standard betting bot ‘Grey Horse Bot’.

The email usually arrives before 12am for the days horse lays & the advice is to place them as close to the off as possible. You can do this using the GHB just by typing a few parameters into it.

Anyway onto yesterdays results & apart from 4 further sports lays there were 4 horse lays with 2 winners and 2 losers.

We’ve had a winner on the 23rd, loser on the 25th and a winner today for this service. The loser was 59 pips so the service has gained 5 pips overall. In the same period the gbp/usd side of the service has had 1 winner for 32 pips.

nice day with 2 trades on the eur/usd for total 45 pips. 1st one was a nice retracement back to the 15ema following a blue SES signal a few candles earlier. went to 20 pips pretty quickly and finally closed in the ma’s for +26 overall. 2nd soon after was similar and i closed it @ 18.00 for further 19 pips.

Losing trade today on the GBP/USD though thankfully the BD exit rules kept the loss small as the price turned and rocketed up. Only question mark was maybe the distance from the 50 channels but including my 3/4 pips to confirm entry it was still only 30 to the channel and just 5 or 6 to the 15 ema.

question is if the same set up appeared tomorrow would i take and i probably would as it ticked all the boxes - just a trade that didnt work out & only 9 pips lost.

2 lays today from Lay the Best - both winners so further £95 added to the bank. I believe you can use the Grey Horse Bot to place the lays earlier in the day or at dinner time if you’re not around to place them in the afternoon but i’m not 100% sure on that so i’ll check that out & post the answer tomorrow.

edit  slight correction from todays results- 1 of the selections was a no bet as it didnt hit the 4/1 max price target.

Having checked back on the results i’ve decided to just follow the horse-racing lays for the time being. They have been giving these out as bets for 3 years+ whereas the sports bets have only recently been recorded so i’ll wait for more info on them.

Still going well & the beauty of them so far is they’re reasonably short so not much damage per winner if it comes along.

Got into a nice trade 1st thing on the eur/usd. everything in place & a well established trend - little retracement through the 15 ema then entered the trade when it had rebounded a few pips past the higher low of the preceding candle.

Again took the full 20 pips off when reached target as was needed for school run. there were 2 possible entries in the afternoon on 2 blue SES candles but i wasnt around so didnt take them. i was going to expand into my other 4 currency pairs usd/cad, usd/chf, aud/usd & eur/jpy but have decided to spend another week getting this 100%.

There were 3 or 4 other good trades on those pairs looking at the charts although some of them did arrive on the same candle so getting them all on would have been tough.

Long day today after not going into the USD/GBP trade flagged up by the MTF3 signal this morning. It was just too far away from the MA’s to be classed as a valid trade under my rules and, whilst its obviously disappointing to miss such a nice trade, i think sticking to the plan may be wiser long term than picking up some big winners.

I did enter a trade on USD/GBP later on when the price retraced to the 15ma and closed it @ 6pm for 10 pips. I’m more than happy with that & its been another good week.
