Not a great day for the Black Dog today with a 10 pip loss overall.

A couple of people have queried wether the recorded results include the spread because this would make a big difference to the results as we’re dealing in small gains. The results do include the spread - i use IG Index and the way the trade works with them is as soon as the entry point is hit the trade is debited with the spread so you’re immediately 2/3 pips down (or whatever the spread is). This means that the price has to move 12/13 pips to reach the 10 pip target. All the trades recorded as winners on the blog have done that.

Break even day today for Black Dog - one of the flattest days i’ve seen in the main markets for a long time. most of the 6 pairs were stuck in the 50 ema channels so it was difficult to pick up any trades but again this is where the Black Dog software excels in keeping you out of the market in difficult conditions.

Another reviewer is struggling this month with £2500 worth of TUFXP software so its credit again to this great piece of software that i’ve been successful this month - currently costs about £125 as well!

Outstanding day for the Black Dog Forex System today with 85 pips profit.

I spoke yesterday of taking the ‘higher probability’ trades which ‘bounce’ off the blue 15min ema line and dont trade if the price is too far away from the ma’s but today i just took all the available ‘hi/lo’ trades that ticked all the Black Dog rules boxes and got 85 pips out of it so i might well just leave it as it is.

Since the update last night yesterdays gbp/usd trade reached its 72 pip target and the mornings gbp/usd trade also comfortably reached its target for another 144 pip gain.

Good, solid day for the Black Dog Forex System today with 30 pips profit. usd/jpy dragged it down with -35pips.

There are traders on the Black Dog forums who are full time professionals and use the hi/lo strategy on the Black Dog. they seem to be a bit pickier with their trades in that they prefer the price to ‘bounce’ off the blue 15min ema line and if the price is too far away from the ma’s they wont trade as the price is seen as more likely to retrace thus causing a losing trade. seems to make sense and whilst it may reduce number of trades it should also increase the success rate.
