The actual trade is still live and currently if we had stayed in the trade rather than take our 100 pip target we would currently have 185 pips in the bank. But as mentioned before, when the market offers us the pips we should take them. Small consistency is the key to success in the trading world. This also only breeds confidence in our system and stops us from becoming too greedy!

So in all using this strategy now for the past 2 months, which is the quiter time of year for the markets we have accumalated 1000 pips since the start. Its a brilliant system if you are not wanting to spend too much trading, but like anything your effort will be rewarded if you put the labour in.

Break even for Black Dog Forex Trading on a difficult day 20/08

Only 1 word to describe the markets i was looking at today and thats messy. No trends developing ranging backwards and forwards around the 50 ema’, but whereas this may have caused problems with other systems the Black Dog system rules just doesnt let you get into the markets.

Anyway 3 winners and 2 losers left us at break even for the day which was pretty good going in markets where there was no direction at all.

The results of all the trades were;

eur/usd +10 pips

gbp/usd +10 pips

usd/chf no trades

usd/jpy -5 pips

eur/jpy -15 pips
