Grey Horse Bot

1st race loser today for GHB - beavered away for next 3 races though to reach the profit target for the day plus a bit more. Back in the black again - just need a reasonable run now to push on a bit.

If this does show a reasonable profit over a couple of months or so i’m going to put a reasonable bank aside for it, try to get £25 a day & build up from there - very low maintenance way to earn a bit. Got to show a profit first though.

Re - Winning Trade for FX Crossover on Usd/Cad

Just wanted to mention as well that this strategy is sold with a different trading style to one we’re using to trial it (ie 100 pip profit limit, 100 pip stop loss). Their style is more long term with the market itself allowed to determine the exit points.

Their style can put you in some really big trades - for example the usd/cad trade which closed as a 100 pip winner with us a couple of days ago was up 500 pips as of yesterday using their exit strategy. Back-testing the system i’ve occasionally come across 1000+ pip moves so the potential is there for some big profits.

Its all about your trading preference & mine is for regular winning trades but the beauty of this strategy, along with our entry/exit rules, is that it gives you the choice.

Upate on Grey Horse Bot

Tues 4th August

Bit of a disaster today for the bot mainly due to the abandonment of the 2 meetings. A bet was placed on a race which was then abandoned causing some confusion. Very rare event and the bot eventually sorted itself out, although it left us down a few points on the day.

Thu 6th August

Another early finish today for the Bot - 2 winners today as well, it placed another lay bet because Betfair hadnt updated my account in time for the next race. Nearly back to level again and then hopefully go on a good run.
